Built from Real Offshore Experience

H2O Subsea was founded to provide reliable subsea equipment and responsive support for offshore operations that can’t afford delays, downtime, or uncertainty.

Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, we support hydrographic survey, ROV, diving, and offshore operations across the Gulf Coast and Gulf of Mexico with equipment that’s ready to work when the job starts.

Built by Someone Who’s Been There

After nearly two decades working across the subsea industry, H2O Subsea was built from firsthand experience in offshore operations, equipment rentals, subsea electronics, and marine technology support.

Founder Joshua Dugan began his career offshore in 2005 as a surveyor shortly after Hurricane Katrina—starting a journey that would span hydrographic survey, ROV operations, subsea electronics, business development, and equipment rentals.

Over the years, Josh worked with leading subsea and marine technology companies including:

Those experiences provided a front-row view into what offshore teams actually need from an equipment provider:

  • Equipment that’s ready
  • Systems that work properly
  • Support that’s responsive
  • People who understand offshore operations

H2O Subsea was created to bring that experience into a more focused, service-driven company built around reliability, responsiveness, and real-world subsea expertise.

What Matters Offshore

Offshore projects move fast and when something goes wrong, the costs add up quickly. That’s why we believe:

Equipment should arrive complete and ready to deploy

Experience matters just as much as inventory

Support should be accessible and responsive

Technical problems should be solved quickly

Because offshore, small problems rarely stay small.

Joshua Dugan

Founder & President

Josh brings nearly 20 years of subsea industry experience spanning offshore survey, subsea electronics, equipment rentals, and business development.

His background includes leadership roles with Tritech International, Teledyne Marine, Imenco, Seatronics, and Cochrane Technologies, where he worked closely with offshore operators, survey teams, and subsea technology systems across the Gulf Coast and beyond.

Having worked directly within offshore operations, Josh understands the realities clients face in the field—and built H2O Subsea around providing the kind of reliable support and service he knows offshore teams depend on.

Robert Henry

Senior Electronics Technician
